Cheesy Mac and Cheese Pasta Bake
- Macaroni pasta 200 g
- Butter 60 g
- Flour 2 tbs
- Milk 250 ml
- Mozzarella 100 g
- Parmesan cheese 30 g
- Salt 2 tsp
- Vintage cheddar cheese 30 g
- Water 1 l
Boil pasta according to the packaging, drain and set it aside.
To make the white sauce start by adding the butter to the saucepan and let it melt completely. Next add in the flour and by using a whisk, whisk it completely smooth.
Once that done slowly add in the milk while continuously stirring. Preheat to oven to 300 Celsius degrees.
Add in the sauce with the pasta, give it a good mix. Taste test for salt and add in the cheese. Stir it until it melts. Next pop the Mac and cheese mix into an oven proof baking tray that holds enough for 2x.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese on the top turns golden brown.
